It starts with your idea
Every dress begins as a sketch: your silhouette, your occasion, your colours. We pair it with soft handwoven cotton and choose a tibeb pattern that tells your story, whether that's gold for a wedding or green for Meskel.
02 · Craft
Woven and embroidered by hand
On a traditional loom, thread by thread becomes shemma, the gentle cotton cloth of the Habesha kemis. Then the tibeb border is embroidered stitch by stitch, in the colours you chose.
03 · Ship
From Addis Ababa to your door
Finished, pressed and carefully packed, your dress travels from Addis Ababa to wherever you call home, with tracking all the way.

“Zuria” is the Tigrinya word for dress. We named our house after it to honour the shared tradition of Ethiopian and Eritrean women, wherever in the world they gather to celebrate.
